About Oak Estates

Oak Estates was developed in the 1940's by S.N. Adams on the former site of a private sports club. The neighborhood contains 148 homes on generous lots. It offers beautiful trees, a quiet, neighborly ambiance, and a central location with easy access to all of central Houston. The outstanding retailers and restaurants of Highland Village are an easy walk from every point in the neighborhood. Only minutes away, the Uptown/Galleria area and Downtown Houston provide the best entertainment, business and shopping opportunities in the city. Oak Estates’ aesthetic appeal, central location, and proximity to fine schools, both public and private, have made it one of Houston’s most sought-after neighborhoods.

In 1999, Oak Estates became a mandatory property owners association under the Chapter 204 of the Texas Property Code. Each property owner is a member of the association. Association funds are used to fund the neighborhood Constable Patrol service, enforce the deed restrictions, and beautify the neighborhood.  Annual assessments are due January 1st.  Payments should made payable to OEHA Inc. and mailed to P.O. Box 541346, Houston, TX  77254-1346.
